Today evening I feel like the woman in the picture below....
So yes, I am sick and I hate it. I am not sick enough to lie in bed and just sleep. I have enough energy to do stuff but since my head is full of slime and I can only breath through my mouth, all intelligent... now I dont even know what the next word should be.... thinking is impossible
Hopefully I still have my voice tomorrow since I have to go to work.
Wish everyone a nice and sick-free weekend!

Back in Austria again!
I spent my weekend back home in Finland. All I can say that it was really relaxing and COLD. When I came to Helsinki-Vantaa, I was prepared to the fact that it was gonna be cold but come on! Less than minus 20 degrees and as I woke up on Saturday it was -29degrees! Even our bigger dog didnt want to go outside and that is certainly something which doesnt happen every day. But as she is as hard as a rock, she then wanted to go outside when it was only -23 degrees. This was the result:
As you can see, I could be the cousin of Michelin man but to be honest, after going for 20mins it was getting warm. The sun was shining but that only helped to get me warm mentally. At least yesterday, Monday, it was "only" -7degrees outside.
But I must say, since I've grown up with these temperature changes (for some of you quite radical temperature changes), it was really not that bad to be in Finland. You sort of get used to the cold and actually enjoy it when it is only -10degrees. That is quite weird, I must say :D
I met some of my good friends during the weekend, thanks guys! It was so great to talk with you face-to-face and hear what is happening in your lifes and how everything is going right now. Facebook just doesn't do it!
One thing that really has bothered me for a long time is my bad swedish skills. That is why I went to the book store and bought me a book&cd-box "Swedish language course- basics".
The funniest thing ever about this box is written on the backside. In finnish is written: "Kuuntele-Matki-Opi", when translating it to english this would mean: "listen- imitate -learn". This could be understood as: "Monkey say, monkey do". If you cannot check the swedish language with this box, you are more stupid than a monkey :D I hope this is not the case with me.

Time to pump some iron!
As my ball was not enough to tame my sport enthusiam, I signed up for the Uni Salzburgs' gym. I have to admit that I am really not such a sport junkie. I like doing sports but I have never had the feeling that I have to do sports everyday (if you don't count in shopping).
The registration for the gym started today at 8am. I need to say that it was good that M was at my place since he woke up at 7am. Otherwise it would have been highly unlikely that I would have been at the gym a bit before 8am. I was going to sign up a friend of mine there but as I am a finance student, I made a good investment myself and paid for one year 149€(that is about 12,40€/month for the gym). The line was not that bad (the style was: you have a line and they took people in this order) when I came but as I left (waited for like 15-20min) there were 15-20people in line.
The gym was opened less than a year ago and it is above "my grocery store". As I thought, I can first do sports, go downstairs and buy some chocolate for the good performance which I did at the gym :D No but seriously the gym is near my place, its easy to access and the opening times are really long.
Let's see what comes.... I do not wish to take it over the top and have the result as shown in the photo here:

IDIOT
I feel so smart when I've spent on one calculation(all together we have 4) about 1,5 hours and the exam on Tuesday is gonna last 45mins and there is gonna be 50% calculations and 50% theory

Coco Chanel
So, I am sort of boring and spending Saturday evening home alone. I worked the whole day, cooked a nice meal (from me to myself) and I am now watching the movie "Coco Chanel". It is sort of weird to watch the movie when the real persons talk french but as we are in Austria, they all speak german :D
Anyways, I find it fascinating to watch and read the story of Coco Chanel. How she was born to a really poor family and how through many steps she created something totally new that the world has never seen before. At the end she died alone and who knows what she in the end believed.
As the fashion changes every six months, Coco created fashion classics like Chanel No.5, the little black dress and the tweed jacket. As we know, fashion repeats itself but there are those classics from which this carousel started. And I believe that Coco Chanel was one of the first persons to get into the carousel and that she had a long ride with it.
Time to hang up my laundry and dream on about the little Chanel bag:

Time to write again... and go vote!!
So again it has been a good while since I have been blogging. Time is short and I just have too much to do :D
But anyways, there have been exams, my sis was here for a visit and who knows what has happened!
Today I had a nice day with a friend of mine, we went shopping and met another friend for a coffee. Such a nice afternoon, thank you guys!
Of course when two girls go shopping, something comes with... My result: Boots which I have been looking for since I threw my last brown boots away(those I wore for over 1,5years and had to throw them away since there were holes in them). The best thing in my new boots is that they were already -50% and I got another 20% off because the had this special offer :D End price: 40€!!!
I am just totally in love with the shoes. I cant wait that it is summer and I can wear them with some really cool summerdress. For winter they are perfect with skinny jeans or black treggins(of course some shirt would not hurt) ;)
Tomorrow we are off to Munich: we are voting for a new president in Finland and I want to give my vote! I think each vote makes the difference and those who do not vote (eg. because they think nothing is gonna change), I can say: don't complain about the current situation because you are not doing anything to change it!
Even though I am living in Austria, I want to take part in the things which are happening in my home country.
with these words, I hope I have more time during the coming days/weeks to post more things about my life.

it is not that bad really
Even though I sometimes have more stress than I really should have, at end of the day I always think of the positive things in my life. And I can say that these positives things makes that stress go away, even if it were for only a couple of minutes...
I hope my glas is always half full and not half empty ;)
