I feel so smart when I've spent on one calculation(all together we have 4) about 1,5 hours and the exam on Tuesday is gonna last 45mins and there is gonna be 50% calculations and 50% theory

Coco Chanel

So, I am sort of boring and spending Saturday evening home alone. I worked the whole day, cooked a nice meal (from me to myself) and I am now watching the movie "Coco Chanel". It is sort of weird to watch the movie when the real persons talk french but as we are in Austria, they all speak german :D

Anyways, I find it fascinating to watch and read the story of Coco Chanel. How she was born to a really poor family and how through many steps she created something totally new that the world has never seen before. At the end she died alone and who knows what she in the end believed.

As the fashion changes every six months, Coco created fashion classics like Chanel No.5, the little black dress and the tweed jacket. As we know, fashion repeats itself but there are those classics from which this carousel started. And I believe that Coco Chanel was one of the first persons to get into the carousel and that she had a long ride with it.

Time to hang up my laundry and dream on about the little Chanel bag:

So again it has been a good while since I have been blogging. Time is short and I just have too much to do :D

But anyways, there have been exams, my sis was here for a visit and who knows what has happened!

Today I had a nice day with a friend of mine, we went shopping and met another friend for a coffee. Such a nice afternoon, thank you guys!

Of course when two girls go shopping, something comes with... My result: Boots which I have been looking for since I threw my last brown boots away(those I wore for over 1,5years and had to throw them away since there were holes in them). The best thing in my new boots is that they were already -50% and I got another 20% off because the had this special offer :D End price: 40€!!!

 

I am just totally in love with the shoes. I cant wait that it is summer and I can wear them with some really cool summerdress. For winter they are perfect with skinny jeans or black treggins(of course some shirt would not hurt) ;)

Tomorrow we are off to Munich: we are voting for a new president in Finland and I want to give my vote! I think each vote makes the difference and those who do not vote (eg. because they think nothing is gonna change), I can say: don't complain about the current situation because you are not doing anything to change it!

 

Even though I am living in Austria, I want to take part in the things which are happening in my home country.

 

with these words, I hope I have more time during the coming days/weeks to post more things about my life.

it is not that bad really

Even though I sometimes have more stress than I really should have, at end of the day I always think of the positive things in my life. And I can say that these positives things makes that stress go away, even if it were for only a couple of minutes...

I hope my glas is always half full and not half empty ;)

The first cakes of the year

NAM!!!

 We had planned to go outside to a coffee house but since the weather turned bad, we decided to stay at my place and M went to Demel before he came to my place. Of course since I do not like all the cakes Austrian coffee houses are offering I looked from the internetpage of Demel what cakes they have to offer. I sent a list with 4 different cakes and hoped to get one of them. M came and brought 3 of them!!! (Demel didnt have the number 1 cake on my list, I guess I need to go there some day to try that cake)

This was a coffee break that was seriously sweet from beginning till the end ;)

New year and a new.... BALL!!

First of all sorry for not posting for a such a long time. There was the time in Finland, Christmas, New Years Eve and since the beginning of this week I have been busy with university stuff.

First of all I wish everyone a happy new year 2012!!! 

so now that that is done, I need to tell you about my new BALL! This is not going to be nothing dirty since I bought myself a gymnastic ball yesterday :) And for the record I stopped making new years' resolutions many years ago since I realized after January that nothing had changed.

The fun started as I started to read the instructions:
1. Leave the ball to the roomtemperature for 2 hours in order that the ball has the right temperature for pumping 
......
4. After pumping the ball to the wished form, wait another 2 hours so that the ball will get its own "natural" form

Seriously, it is only a gymnastic ball, its not like I building a bookshelf from a certain big swedish interior design shop with 4 letter...

Käännös: Ensiksi pahoitteluni pitkän blogi hiljaisuuden johdosta, oli Suomessa käyntiä, joulua, uutta vuotta, töitä ja ties mitä. Toivotan nyt tätäkin kautta hyvää uutta vuotta 2012! 
Seuraavaksi haluisin jutella mun uudesta pallosta minkä hommasin eilen. Tähän on turha yhdistää mitään kaksmielistä sillä ostin itselleni jumppapallon. Ihan mahtava tekele, tietty sen jälkeen kun olin ensin odottanut 2 tuntia että pallo on huoneenlämpöinen(näin käskettiin ohjeissa tekemään), ja pumppaamisen(siis semmoisella pyöränrenkaan pumpulla!) jälkeen olisi vieläki pitäny odottaa kaksi tuntia että pallo menee luonnolliseen muotoonsa ja sit olisi vielä voinut pumpata lisää ilmaa palloon.
Ylhäällä kohdassa "Ball exercises" on hyvän oloinen nettisivu niille, jotka jo omistavat pallon tai aikovat ostaa sellaisen. Ja tiedoksi kaikille että en ostanu sitä sen takia että olisin tehnyt uuden vuoden lupauksen että aion jumpata enemmän. Lopetin lupausten tekemisen monta vuotta sitten huomattuani että tammikuun lopussa en ollu saanut mitään muutettua :D
